A round floral top with notched petals and a wheel-like star cut into its centre begins the piece. The jhumka below is cone-shaped, its body stepped with jali and drawn patterns, and the bottom rim carries a fringe of small drops mixed with beads. There is no stone, since the sparkle comes from the cutwork alone, making it a fine choice for festivals and dawats.
